Joint Zhejiang-Columbia Workshop on Earth Sciences and Sustainable Development

哥伦比亚大学拥有队伍非常强大的地球学院和Lamont-Doherty 地球观测中心,在地球科学领域具有很高的学术声誉。为了推进我校与哥伦比亚大学在地球科学领域的科研合作和学生交流,定于2013926-27日召开“Joint Zhejiang-Columbia Workshop on Earth Sciences and Sustainable Development”以及合作协议签字仪式。
参加本次研讨会的哥伦比亚大学的代表有10位,包括美国科学院院士Joel Ephraim Cohen教授,Lamont-Doherty 地球观测中心副主任 Art Lerner-Lam 教授,国际地球科学信息网络中心主任Robert Chen教授等。研讨会涉及的内容包括地球科学的多个领域,如地质学,海洋科学,地球物理探测,全球变化,地质灾害,资源与环境可持续发展等。
